This document explains which cookies this site installs, who places them, what they are for and how you can accept or decline them. It complements our
privacy notice.
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser to recognize you on later visits or during the same session. Alongside cookies there are equivalent technologies — local storage, pixels, tags — that serve the same purpose. In this policy we call them all “cookies”, and we treat them under the same rules.
Cookies can be first-party, if Delihealth’s installs them, or third-party, if another company installs them from our site. And they can be session cookies, deleted when you close the browser, or persistent, remaining for a set period.
2 How we ask for your consent
The first time you enter the site a notice appears with two buttons: “Only necessary” and “I agree”.
Strictly necessary cookies are always installed, because without them the site does not work. They do not require your consent and they are not used to profile you.
Advertising cookies are installed only if you choose “I agree”. Until you do, the site does not load the Google tag or any other third-party tool.
Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie called website_cookies_bar so we do not have to ask again on every page. Until you choose, no optional cookie is installed.

Google may install additional first-party cookies on its own domains (google.com, doubleclick.net) when the tag runs, that is, only after you accept. Those cookies are governed by Google’s policies, not by this one.
4 Usage statistics without cookies
We measure how many people visit each page with an analytics tool that installs no cookies and creates no profiles: it stores nothing in your browser and produces only aggregate counts (most-viewed pages, country, device type). That is why it does not appear in the table above and does not require your consent.
5 How to change your choice
You can change your mind whenever you like, with no explanation and with no more effort than it took to accept.
Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer: it shows the notice again so you can choose afresh.
Or delete this site’s cookies from your browser; on your next visit we will ask you again.
If you withdraw your consent, we stop loading the Google tag immediately. Any cookies Google had already installed can be deleted from your browser or with the controls in point 7.
6 How to block them from your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. These are the instructions for the most widely used ones:
Nothing important. The site works the same: you can browse every page, read the services, fill in the contact form and message us on WhatsApp. The only thing we lose is knowing which ad brought you here.
Declining cookies does not affect in any way the medical care you receive, the contracting of services, or your use of the Delihealth’s App.
9 Transfers outside Mexico
If you accept advertising cookies, the data that tag generates — cookie identifier, IP address, pages visited — is processed on Google’s infrastructure, which operates servers outside Mexico, including the United States of America.
That transfer occurs only with your consent, which you give by pressing “I agree”, and you may withdraw it at any time in accordance with point 5. The detail of our transfers is in point 8 of the
privacy notice.
10 The Delihealth’s App does not use cookies
This policy applies to the website. The mobile app does not use cookies: being a native application, it stores the session in the device’s secure storage. The processing of data inside the App is described in point 14 of the
privacy notice.
11 Changes to this policy
If we add a new tool that installs cookies, we add it to the table in point 3 and update the date above before activating it. When the change involves cookies that require your permission, we will ask you again.
